Nick Meyers represents companies and individuals at all stages of complex civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.
Before joining the Angeli Law Group, Nick was an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell’s Litigation and Criminal Defense and Investigations Groups, where he represented global and U.S. companies and financial institutions in criminal and regulatory enforcement matters, complex securities, commodities, and antitrust litigation, and corporate internal investigations. Nick has represented corporate and individual clients before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the U.S. House of Representatives, numerous state attorneys general, and various exchanges and self-regulatory organizations.
Nick served as a law clerk to the Hon. Kermit V. Lipez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and to the Hon. Michael H. Simon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Nick graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon, where he was a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship and served as a teaching assistant for former Oregon Attorney General Dave Frohnmayer. Nick earned his law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Criminal Justice Institute. During law school, Nick also served as an extern in the Offices of the United States Attorneys for the Districts of Oregon and Massachusetts.
