Ms. Perini-Abbott represents companies and individuals at all stages of complex civil and criminal matters.
Prior to joining Angeli Law Group, Ms. Perini-Abbott was a litigation associate at Perkins Coie where she litigated a wide variety of complex civil matters. Ms. Perini-Abbott successfully represented employers at trial and arbitration against claims under the ADA and Oregon discrimination laws and in matters arising out of executive severance agreements. Ms. Perini-Abbott also litigated a variety of matters involving trade secrets, contract disputes, institutional responsibility for the torts of employees, and securities fraud, from initial stages through discovery, dispositive motions, and resolution.
Ms. Perini-Abbott began her legal practice at the Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin where she represented individuals from pre-indictment through trial and appeal on matters including computer crime, fraud, drug conspiracy, arson, and gun crime. Ms. Perini-Abbott represented clients in a variety of trials, including bankruptcy fraud, tax evasion, and attempted murder. Ms. Perini-Abbott also argued issues involving the Fourth Amendment and the Sentencing Guidelines before the Seventh Circuit.
Ms. Perini-Abbott served as a law clerk to the Hon. Joel M. Flaum for the Seventh Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals. She graduated magna cum laude from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Perini-Abbott is an active member of the community. She volunteers as a member of the Oregon Board of Bar Examiners and a lacrosse coach to elementary school students through Eastside Portland Lacrosse.
